5th Council Meeting and 2nd conference of ASEAN Forest Products Industry Club was held at Traders Hotel Yangon on 24 Augest, 2007.

        On meeting, Combodia, Loas, Myanmar, Malaysia and Thailand presented their countries reports.

        On conference, New election for AFPIC (2007-2009) was done. U Sein Lwin
(Myanmar),Chairman of MFPTMA was appointed as new chairman.

         Deputy Chairman position was awarded to Thailand.
