5th Council Meeting and 2nd conference of ASEAN Forest Products Industry Club and 2nd conference was held at Traders Hotel Yangon this morning. Present on occasion were Managing Director of Myanmar Timber Enterprise U Win Tun and Officials concerned, Chairman of Myanmar Forest Products and Timber Merchants Association U Sein Lwin and Executive Committee members, AFPIC delegates and invited guests. First, general secretary of AFPIC Mr.Dato Nazuri delivered the introductory remarks. Then, Managing Director of Myanmar Timber Enterprise U Win Tun gave the welcoming speech. After that, commemorative plaques were exchanged between Managing Director of U Win Tun and AFPIC chairman. Plaques were also exchanged between U Sein Lwin chairman of Myanmar Forest Products and Timber Merchants Association and AFPIC chairman then posed for group photos. After grand opening, 5th Council Meeting of ASEAN Forest Products Industry Club and 2nd conference was held and delegates from Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia attended the meeting.
